Carla ( or JULESTAR RISING SUN ) is a Catalan Sheepdog  She was bred in Lincolnshire by Mrs J Bennett on 2nd June 2009 Hip score 5/18 total 23

We had been admiring the Catalans for a while, impressed by their liveliness, friendliness and appearance , and we have not been disappointed. She is intelligent, determined and prefers to be active, loves water and can do a standing jump of 3-4ft. She has coped well with a house full of Polish Lowlands, though I think they are perplexed by Carla’s charging around and even enjoys grooming especially if one of the Polish are being groomed. Fortunately she is easy to groom, though objects to nail cutting

She didn’t like showing, but with the help of our obedience, ring and agility run by Sue in showing me how to make it fun to show off and has started to win her classes in Import Register

She enjoys Obedience and agility and is starting flyball  Though suddenly she may decide she is fed up with that and go and try and play with the others. I must practice more
